Lead Design Structural Engineer (Offshore / Onshore)|
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Design Structural Engineer to support offshore and onshore structural projects on a remote, flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers seeking freelance or part-time engagements with global projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review structural design and analysis for offshore and onshore structures.
- Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, British Standards, and other relevant international codes.
- Perform and validate complex engineering calculations and simulations.
- Coordinate with architects, project engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Review and approve drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in structural engineering design (offshore experience is a plus).
- Solid knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to independently review and validate designs.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with offshore structures (e.g., jackets, topsides, FPSO) preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as STAAD.Pro, SACS, ANSYS, SAP2000 preferred.
- Prior experience in design leadership roles preferred.
